I… I mean, I just… I just do not understand how someone can live in such a bubble of pure delusion and ignorance that they write a story about two men, one of whom is designated “the woman” and despite being ostensibly as sexually free, socially accepted to be sexually aggressive, demanding, and open about their desires, instead it’s a story where sex is simply what the seme (man) does whenever he wants, however he wants, while the uke suffers through it with a bored and disinterested look on his face.

I mean… really now. that’s the Tyrant-author’s idea of “romance”?? she could have written about literally anything, and it’s a couple where one partner is never sexually satisfied and greatly detests the relationship.

I’m really upset that I didn’t know you were referring to Tyrant until you specifically named it. God, that first paragraph could describe almost any given yaoi, what a world we live in.

So by “complete control over me” I take it AP means to say “whenever I’m around you I can’t control myself bc ur just so sexy that I wanna frick u in the butt (whether u want it or not lol) therefore you have control over me”? Because that is a load of buuullllshiiiiittttt.

Also everyone appears to be rocking the yaoi hands in this entry, or in KS’s case, yaoi stumps??

I see that line a lot in “romance” where the relationship is abusive but the author won’t admit it. Twilight had that. 50 Shades had that. I THINK it’s supposed to imply that OH NO HE’S NOT REALLY AN ABUSIVE FUCK SHE REALLY HAS ALL THE CONTROL BECAUSE HE’S SO IN LOOOOVE~

When really it just sounds like rape apologia. “I HAD to rape you because I think about you SO MUCH you completely control me!” Er, no. That doesn’t imply equal power in a relationship, it’s a manipulative tactic that serves to gaslight the victim.
